Phenoxyethanol (and) Benzoic Acid (and) Dehydroacetic Acid. Optiphen ND is paraben free and does not contain formaldehyde releasers. It is effective against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, yeast, and mold. The pH of finished formulations should be 6 or below for effective utilization of this preservative. Optiphen ND is approved for use worldwide.optiphen™ nd preservative finds application in formulating hair care products (conditioners, gels, mousses, novel stylers, shampoos, styling lotions/creams), body care, color cosmetics, face and body washes, facial care and wipes. It provides broad-spectrum protection against bacteria, yeast, fungi and mold. It is designed for use in skin- & hair care rinse-off & leave-on applications.

Usage / Benefits
-Optiphen ND is applicable for use in a variety of personal care products including shampoos, shower gels, body washes, creams, lotions, gels, and wet wipes with an acidic pH.
-Optiphen ND is a liquid that can be easily added at any phase of the formulation. It can be added during pre- or post-emulsification at or below 80C.
